This Privacy Policy explains how Cigital Studio ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Clipper2 ("the Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account information: when you connect TikTok or Instagram, we receive the profile details those platforms provide through their official login APIs (for example your display name and profile picture link), and the authorization tokens needed to publish on your behalf.
• Content you provide: the source videos and generated clips you upload or create, together with their captions.
• Usage information: basic technical logs such as timestamps and error reports needed to operate and troubleshoot the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To generate clips from your videos and publish the clips you approve to your linked accounts.
• To show you the review queue and the status of your clips.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your information. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not publish anything without your approval.

3. Third-party platforms

When you link TikTok or Instagram, that connection is governed by the platform's own terms and privacy policy. Each platform controls the data it shares with us. Publishing through the official APIs means your clips are posted under your own account, using only the permissions you approved.

4. Data storage and retention

• Source videos and generated clips are stored only as long as needed to process and publish them. You may request deletion at any time.
• Access tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to publish content you approved. Deleting your account or disconnecting a platform removes the corresponding token.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You can disconnect linked accounts from Clipper2 or directly from TikTok's and Instagram's app settings.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage for credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
